BABA SAFARI TAUGHT US HOW TO LEARN THE KNOWLWDGE FOR SELF


Baba Safari died on Monday 14th July 2003

On July 14, 2006, people of Ardabil will remember and commemorate
Baba Safari, the great philanthropist, historian and politician of Ardabil.
The Behesht-e-Zahra Cemetery of Ardabil (BZCA), is a special place for many reasons. To be certain it honors a man who has performed extraordinary acts of bravery on the field of accountability, writing of history of Iran, including Azarbaijan and introducing of Islam as religion of love, dignity and democratic values.
Buried at Behesh-e-Zahra is a veteran who served the cause of democracy, freedom and humanitarian values in every job he undertook.
On July 14, 2006,grateful people of Ardabil and all Iranians will add their respects to the father of history of Ardabil, to a man, who undertook the responsibility of the Pilgrimage and Endowment of Iran (Ogaf) for 17 years from 1960-1978 (as a senior assistant to the deputy prime ministers in the Ogaf's affairs) and preveneted it to be a center for corruptions and sealing of people's wealth.
The popular mayor of Ardabil in the difficult time of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh's government, worked with an econmoy of without oil's revenues and balanced the budget of the city and made Ardabil's streets one of the cleanest street in Azarbaijan; before him, the city had a huge deficit in its budget.
In 1949,Baba Safari, as a teacher and also as a deputy director of the ministry of culture in Ardabil promoted the foundamental reforms in the education system of this city.
After the Islamic Revolution in Iran, in the election of Parliament, people of Ardabil voted for him (more than 28000 votes), but because of combination of the votes of Ardabil with the votes of other villages and cities near Ardabil, he was prevented for being of a MP in Tehran.
